There are so many ways that you can tame your sweet tooth than simply going cold turkey.
The obvious ways such as cutting out soda, sports drinks, flavored milks, sweets, cakes, cookies and pastries.
The not so obvious ways are to begin to examine and find out what is really in the food you are eating. This takes a lot more effort than simply not adding a tablespoon of sugar to your morning coffee! Most processed foods contain sugar- it has been added to amp up the flavor and hide any other nasties in the food (I also believe they know sugar is addictive, so they like to add more than is really required!).
