Taming Your Sweet Tooth When Quitting Sugar
- Health foods – or anything labelled as such. These snacks are found in the health food aisle or the weight loss aisles. These products are going to be high in sugar to either hide the removal of fat from the product or they are using it to add flavor to something that is blander. Gluten free doesn’t mean low in sugar!
- Spreads. Obviously jams are not sugar-free, but check out the sugar-free spreads and you will notice they are using a mixture of other artificial sugars. While you are breaking the habits of sugar it is best to avoid these altogether.
